The Mind

                             (A continuation of History Repeats)

       The mind has a different view point on how history repeats. Each human is unique. That's what makes them an individual. If you compare yourself to a snowflake and others around you, knowing that no two snowflakes are exactly alike but carry out the same purpose. Naturally the difference between snowflakes and humans is that wonderfully terrible thing we call a mind. Based on my studies in my particular spirituality, it is my belief that what mainstream religions call the devil or deceiver, I call the human mind. It is your mind that creates an automatic response to any situation. Let's start with life. You were born, given a name, the man that took part in your conception leaves the woman that gave birth to you. You and your siblings are being raised underneath a small rat infested, barely big enough to fit everyone, poor, drinking coffee for breakfast at four years old, going to preschool barefooted, being taught by your siblings how to do everyday functions. It wasn't because your birth mother wasn't trying. She was off "working" for days on end. The courts take you all away, separate you and place you in different foster homes that were all abusive in one way or another. Finally get put up for adoption after all those years of hell. I'm pretty sure your mind is thinking that life sucks, what's the point of living if this is how life is? It is at this most critical point in your life that the deceiver creeps in. It tells you to end your life. Go kill people before they harm anyone else, or run away from them all and do drugs because drugs are your best friend now. They'll take away all your pain. Well that's what the guy said that lives in the alley. It tells you to be afraid of life because life sucks. But wait, what's this? Oh mainstreams religions say it's the angel of the lord coming to tell you the truth. I say it's your own spirit speaking to you. Or it may be your spirit guide "guardian angel". If your spirits energy is weakened by your minds words. Crucial point. Do you listen to your mind and forever fear life? Remember what happens when you fear. You don't evolve. What happens when you face your fear? Your spirit breaks through, conquers your mind and breaks down the negativity. Moves your personal evolution forward bringing you to a better state of mind and a far better place than you could have been.

Dual signs

Evolution

  From fish to feet-

Some believe we derived from the sea. We were fish or some sea creature that due to changing conditions on Earth, decided to come out of the water and over thousands or billions of years, evolved into humans.

  From monkey to man-

Some such as scientists believe we started off as knuckle draggers and over time stood upright. To a human it makes a bit more sense then the fishy story.

  Out of clay, then ran away-

Others say we were formed from mud and baked into human existence by the Sun.

  They clipped our wings, and we fell from the sky-

Still others will say we were once birds which would explain why we have such protruding shoulder blades.

  From heavenly to human bodies-

And last but not least. We were once stars or come from above. Once without a shell or body. Came to Earth and gave ourselves a body that will deteriorate and perish so we can return in a new body. To teach us spiritually about all forms of life and such.

  Fact is, all of this is true if you believe in such. Given the fact that outside of our current bodies we are spirit. And as spirit we are only bound by what we believe we can....or cannot do. As spirit we can fly with no fear of heights....unless your afraid of heights. You can swim to the deepest part of the sea, with no fear of drowning....unless your afraid of drowning. You can travel anywhere in or even outside of the universe with no fear of going out....unless you’re afraid to go out.

  Now when I say, unless you fear something. I'm not saying what you fear will happen unless you allow it to happen. In other words, There is nothing to fear but fear itself. Evolution comes because we chose to do something without fear.

   There was a man who at as a child almost drowned in a pool. For many years growing up, greatly feared water. Till one day he faced his fear, looked upon the water in the pool and said, "You will not defeat me”. Then he jumped in. Later he became an Olympic champion. Thus he evolved.

   Every day of our lives we have a choice to make. We can either fear the outcome and continue to ask what if this or that happens. How will you ever know what will happen? Instead of fearing what doesn't exist until you fear it into existence. Try seizing the moment because all that exists now is the what is.

   Evolution comes in only one of two ways. Good or bad, positive or negative.

Every mistake you make causes a negative ripple to yourself and others around you. But that's not a bad thing, being who we are we have a choice to make. We can fear the outcome and never try it again, or we can learn from it, face our fear and try again. If we forever fear it, the negative ripple stays and you personal evolution backslides or doesn't allow you to move forward and evolve to the better place or position you should be at. Or take ten times longer to get there. If you face it and try again, learn from it and you'll find yourself evolving forward at a much faster pace.

  Each little step of personal evolution you take, brings you closer to the goal evolution your spirit has set in this lifetime.

Sacrifice

   To lose one in order to gain another.

To give up a part or all of oneself to benefit another.

    This is the hardest thing for a human to do. To focus clearly and understand that all emotions are backing them.

It's like a couple moving in together and she removes his favorite chair for a love seat.

     Maybe it's just me, but I feel if your going to move in together it's best to give up all personal possessions of your past. All furniture, pictures (except immediate family photos), everything. After all you’re in a new relationship and new beginnings, why bring the old into the new? Leave the past in the past. In this way everything and everyday will be new to both of you in everyway.

   Sacrifice- To give up your most cherished possession.

   To give up your thoughts of the past.

   You are giving up what you no longer need in order to gain all that you do.

    With every choice we make, we sacrifice one for the other. Do I eat this or that? Do I say no to love and instead say yes to work or education? And so on. All of us are capable of doing both, some of choose to do just one or the other, sacrificing something that could assist us with both.

   There are those who can multi-function. These people have a greater knowledge or soon to learn things at a faster rate than those who concentrate on that one thing. It is fact that sometimes it's best to walk away or find something else to do for awhile. In doing so, you allow your brain time to rest and put what your trying to accomplish into a sensible perspective. When you return to the project you'll find that all of a sudden it seems easier. The more you concentrate, the harder it becomes.

  When it comes to relationships, the more you concentrate on work or education. The harder it is to learn about love. How much work or how far up the ladder will you climb if all you do is work? And not from time to time take a break and spend time with that certain someone who in one way or another changes your life to some degree.
